Earlier this month, we wrapped up our 2025 Roadshows and what an incredible time we had.
From Edinburgh to Leeds, Manchester, Newport and London, we are thrilled to have connected with so many of our customers, partners and energy industry professionals across the UK.
This year’s theme was all about Energy Management and AI. It sparked many engaging conversations and forward-thinking discussions. As the energy landscape continues to evolve, we focused on how artificial intelligence is shaping smarter, more efficient energy strategies and showcased how our solutions can support organisations manage their energy and sustainability effectively.
In each session, we took a closer look at some exciting new product developments, alongside a deep dive into our latest Water AMR Insights Reporting to help our attendees better understand how they can manage water consumption with real-time data and analytics.
We were delighted to welcome our guest speaker, Wai Lau, CEO of Cloud Enterprise who spoke about AI in the energy industry. Wai said:
“It was a privilege to be invited to speak about AI at the SystemsLink Roadshows this year. Inspiring discussions on how AI is shaping the future of the energy industry. If you missed out on the great conversations, hope you see you at the next one!“
Our customer panel sessions gave attendees valuable perspectives on real-world implementation, while customer success stories highlighted how our tools are already making a tangible impact.
We want to thank the following speakers and Q&A attendees:
- Douglas Evans, Energy and Climate Change Team Leader at Inverclyde Council

Here’s some insight into the discussions within the Q&A sessions – Jenifer Green, Senior Energy and Decarbonisation Officer at Vale of Glamorgan Council, told us that SystemsLink’s Energy Manger is like her ‘right arm’ and uses it every day.
“People will ring me up and ask: ‘how much energy did we use last year, how much did it cost?’ I think they are thinking it will take me hours to work out but it’s just two buttons and I can give them the answer – it’s great.”
Douglas Evans, Energy and Climate Change Team Leader at Inverclyde Council discussed how his team of six have been using SystemsLink’s software for three years. They use our Energy Manager, Bureau and Invoice Validation services.
“Our finance team have also been actively involved in using the software and we’re pushing it out to get other teams to use it too.”

Finally, our FAQ clinic proved popular across all locations – offering one-on-one opportunities to ask questions, get tailored advice, and discuss future goals directly with our experts.
To everyone who joined us, thank you! Your insights, feedback and enthusiasm continue to inspire us as we push forward in building the future of energy management. We’re already looking ahead to our Roadshows next year.
